Avatar Fan Art
This summer I got Kenton, Maria, and Francis hooked on the greatest cartoon that was ever made: Avatar the Last Airbender. So when the girls asked me to come up with an art project for them one morning, my proposal of an ATLA proposal was immediately accepted.
First, they painted some watercolor paper with blue ink. Then they drew all their favorite characters while that dried.
We finished it off by painting some foam core strips with brown to make a faux wood frame. Also added in all the element the sumbols to each corner:
