Mat Board Mosaics
Every day in the afterschool program, we walk by the framer's shop and they put out free scrap mat board. So we had an extensive collection of mat board. I decided to cut it into a million little tiles, and sorted them by color. Then all the afterschool kids helped me make this epic mosaic for the center:
We also used the tiles to make a fall and summer mosaic the following year:
